Many people turn towards music to relax during times of stress. People enjoy all forms of music as it exudes a soothing sensation which helps them be calm and composed. There are various genres of music available to suit the various moods of people. Some people perceive songs as musical poems, whereas, some get their kicks and adrenalin rush from a particular genre of music. Some feel liberated from certain type of music. Music is the ultimate remedy which temporarily sets you free from all the problems of life. Many people are loyal devotees of the band called Avoid One Thing and are constantly on the lookout for One Thing lyrics.
The first impulse of anyone listening to the song is to hum along the lyrics so as to enjoy the song at a deeper level. Avoid One Thing is punk cum pop band which came into the limelight from the year 2002 with their debut album which was released on Side One Dummy records. The One Thing lyrics have a punk based approach and sounds like a combination of Green Day and The Replacements. Avoid One Thing comprise of four renowned members which include Joe Gittleman, Amy Griffin, Paul Delano and Dave Karcich. Joe Gittleman is a bassist who has his roots in bands such as Gang Green and Mighty Mighty Bosstones. Guitarists Amy Griffin and Paul Delano were members of bands Raging Teens and Darkbuster respectively. Dave Karcich is the drummer for the group.
Songs such as Yakisoba, Backyard Joey, Every Second of Every Day are some of the hit numbers of this band. One thing lyrics of all these hits are available on the net. The lyrics of these songs are meaningful and powerful and immediately strike a chord with the listeners. The group was started as a side project by Gittleman and he was the major contributor in the writing and the recording of the first album. A lot of first album songs of One Thing lyrics were compiled by Gittleman. It transitioned into a full-fledged band in 2004 after a tragic incident with band’s drummer Karchich, which lead to his death. The death was a result of sudden brain aneurysm. John Lynch replaced Karchich as the lead drummer and the second album was released soon after the tragic incident. Those who are fans of punk and alternative rock should definitely give a ‘thumbs up’ to Avoid One Thing and listen to some of their hit numbers.
